MAKING A DIFFERENCE THROUGH DANCE
REACHING OUT:

The studio offers a community outreach dance and performing arts program to students who are referred by schoolteachers, principals, counselors and programs such as Tahoe Youth and Family Services, the Boys and Girls Club and the Women’s Center.

We have been contacted by a variety of educators and professionals letting us know that our outreach program HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE.  The students’ participation at the studio has resulted in better grades and better behavior. We have also seen these students develop a genuine passion for dance and a high level of commitment to the art of dance and to being part of the studio family.

Lake Tahoe’s Shining Stars is a 501c-3  (ID 20-5746264) that is partially funded through the proceeds from ticket sales for the annual spring recitals and holiday performances.

*Tickets for these events can be purchased online via the link set up prior to the dates of the performances. Some tickets may be available at the venue.

In addition, these young dancers would not have this opportunity without the help of grants and sponsorships.
